Telegraph buckle attachment

I have a wide belt buckle that was worn by a soldier in a telegraph unit. There are two attachment clips on each end. Does anyone know what was attached to these, or have a picture of the device? Thank you

Abspuler

The device is called an Abspuler and simply was a frame used to carry/support a spool of telephone wire. I have one with the wire reel still on it. I have sent you a PM.
