Camouflaged M18

Took some photos in the morning sun. This is my only M18 helmet, am very fond of the paint scheme, the black lines were obviously omitted.

Interestingly the painter, who may also have been the wearer, left a finger print in the paint. An identity, unintentional personalization, preserved forever in time.

Very nice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a WWI camo like that. Very cool that it has a fingerprint.
