Btw. did someone notice that the ring of the "CD" EKIIs is always very thick? The most thick of all EKs! Here is a "CD800" (right) and a square from me. The cores look different!

Interesting variant,Jens!Another one to go.....But have a look at this two EKs.
Absolutely twins! But you are right,there must have been a big exchange of cores and rings.I've got a Fr marked EK2 with the core you find usually at FR EKs...
