I'm hopefully getting this pin. Does anyone have any info on the unit?

189th Infantry Regiment was drawn from Brandenburg, not Württemberg, and in 187th Infantry Division throughout.

My guess is this is NOT a unit badge, but rather (all paper?) some sort of "Hi! I've been drafted and I don't have a uniform yet! If lost, please send on to..." sort of badge whose wear was temporary.

Or... ????

A silly question but couldn´t that be Artillery with the cannon at the bottom?

The bottom looks like a trophy of arms, so it would be generic.
