There’s loads of these type doing the rounds at the moment , mostly fakes . I say mostly because these fakes are copied from an original but they are few and far ,as I say the majority seen are copies . I have to say that this one has better detail than most but the characteristic pin catch would lead me to say this is not a good one . Although this type of catch is , again, copied from a period type it is wrong in terms of shape to the period examples . I have one of these badges in 925 silver and a plated over back ,probably post war but the details are very fine and not like those fakes seen on seller sites .
