Wow! I think that such combination of medals is quite unique, therefore I really believe that the chances that the ribbon bar is of the same guy whose medal bar is going to be sold at Kube's. You are pratically morally obliged to bid on it! Good luck!!! I can only say that I won't bid against you...

      Ciao,

      Claudio

You ARE morally obliged to be the high bidder on that bar.

Pick out a nice one for me and start the bidding. I couldn't get a catalog.

            I agree with Claudio

Rick, you MUST obtain this bar! Sell the cats and car, pimp yourself out on the dark, backside of the Centrum, and do what you know you MUST DO!!!!!!!!!!

What, are you guys CWAZY????? I should plonk out 600 bucks on a medal bar to match my Very Cheap ribbon bar?

It has THREE ucky banned-by-eCrap emblems!!! Eeeeeeewwwww, whatcha want me to DO, Turn Zinky? (shuddder!!!)

What can I tell about this guy? That he was most likely born between 1875-78, served an NCO career enlistment of 12-14 years between maximum spread of 1893-1910, never served outside Germany, was NOT recalled for military service (in EITHER World War)--whatever his "vital" civil service job was, and although an ex-Imperial NCO or PO, was a Third Reich civil service equivalent of a "Captain/Major."

I think Zink Boy should help Rick out here and prove once and for all that the evil forces of zinc and jackboots have not currupted his mind forever. SELL THE ZINK AND BUY THE BAR!!!!

Ah, but no device on your ribbon bar for the Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege! Does the fact that it's the Ehrenzeichen rather than Medaille automatically move it up the order of precedence? (Compared with the relative position of the Medaille and Treudienstehrenzeichen on my rather more modest latest addition, which I'm quite pleased with actually).

                          Hi James,

the Volkspflege cross and medal ranks in the order of precedence under "No. 28: Andere staatliche Auszeichnungen und Auszeichnungen der NSDAP nach der Höhe ihrer Stufe und innerhalb derselben Stufe nach dem Tag ihrer Verleihung" (other governmental awards and awards of the NSDAP in the heigh of their class and in the same class in order of time awarded....I hope I translated right)
So the Volkspflege cross was higher than the Volkspflege medal.

                          Best regards

                          Daniel
