It would be very nice to see another one to make a comparison . These things seem to vary quite widely .

Here’s another sleeve patch that’s not often seen . Volunteer marine flyer for the Flanders front , precursor to the marine land flieger pilot badge . Weitze had a very moth eaten example a year or so ago but other than that I have not seen any others

nice FMFK sleeve patch. But this was not the precursor to the land pilot badge. This was not worn by pilots only. At the FMFK pilots of both see and land plane were trained and observer as well.
