I have a similar ribbon bar with an EKII idenitical in measurements and the Hindenburg Cross and KVK also made of solid bronze. But my Hindenburg Cross does not have the thick loop and only the KVK ribbon glows. I also noticed that the ring on my EKII also appears to be off center. I measured it but the ring is exactly in the center of the top arm, but the edges of the cross are not identical in measurement -- the cross is stamped crooked -- exactly like yours!
On the upper arm of the cross notice that the right side of the frame is wider than the left!

The frame is also off on the reverse of the cross but not as much as the obverse:
