Imperial General's collar tabs

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to check these out- they look very nice to me and came with 2 sets of WW2 period General's tabs - all had been flattened out for some reason.

Judging from the green backing these must be WW1 Prussian?

Hi Patrick,
Not so sure - what material is the thread used on the embroidery?
Does not look like bullion to me.
I enclose pics of a more typical set.

Thanks those are some great tabs you have!

The thread is bullion but thinner wire more like that used WW2 for such tabs. The thicker bullion same as yours is used for the highlights,
