    While browsing through Ebay i found this nice beauty => " OLGA " orden ? , who can tell me more ? original, rarity , award numbers, etc ... etc ....

    Scarce, scarce scarce!

    I'm a low underbidder. The cross is similar to the other state's Damen-Orden, but this is the only one I've seen in years, as well as the only cased one I've ever seen. I expect the price will end up quite higher!!

        Similar to:

        Wurttemburg equivalent of Prussian Louisen-Orden, Saxon Carola Orden. Service for aid and assistence to the War effort, typically through the red cross, or at an aid station/hospital at home. This one would have been awarded for the Franco-Prussian War. I believe that this would have been awarded by the Duchess, as opposed to by the Duke himself. They come up very infrequently, but have a narrow group of collectors. Any serious Wurttemburg collector will hop on, as will the Red Cross folks. Pretty, but still a civilian type award. No idea on numbers, etc., but I can try and check some references when I get home tonight.
