    Imperial Pilot and Observer Badges

Hey guys, wanted to show these 2 beauties, been looking for minty originals and finally got them! These badges are getting hard to find in this condition, the pics don’t do them justice, especially the pilot, it’s as close to mint as possible, the patina is a real killer!
These Junckers are not that rare, but they are such a WWI Aviation symbol!

They are both very nice and are my favorite general variation of the Prussian badges Of those types.

Nice, I've always wanted one, and have passed on a few recently as I'm about to make a different purchase. But often, I say to myself "maybe the other item can wait, and I'll add this badge instead"

Very beautiful badges in the best quality! Both untouched with a nice patina.
The enamel on the observer is flawless. I love these Juncker marked flight badges.
Now you can start the quest to find some good cases for them

Very nice badges but hard to see the finish with the patina but should be something like this for virtually unworn.

Unusual to see a ‘pointy’ pin on the pilot badge ,nearly always blunt.

              Thanks guys!
Rich, mine is virtually MINT, but there is no finish like yours, just great, even, dark patina and only the burnished highlights shine through. I’ll have to make some better pics to show.
About the boxes, I’m not in a hurry, as I’ll display them in my office on the wall
Ferg, yes, most are like Rich’s Badge or like the Observer Badge posted.

Unusually, I'm liking everything in this thread.
