    PLM ribbon - opinions

I would like to get some opinions on this ribbon, I saw that thread with some examples of ww1 originals where the silver thread goes over four lines, and some post '45 examples with about 14-15 silver threads over two lines.

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=734393

What about PLM ribbons of the TR time production, what are those look like?

This one has 16 silver threads which go over two lines, but silver tread looks a little thicker and tighter .

What about those members with PLMs from 30s and 40s, what type of ribbons came with your PLMs?

              Hi Alik,

Nice to see you posting again

To me this ribbon looks post-1939. Beyond that it's hard to say from photos.
              Best regards,
              Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Here are the pictures of the PLM that came with this ribbon.
                  Looks like gilded bronze .

On the first picture it looks like someone at some point was trying to scratch test it, maybe to see if it's gold.

Interesting piece. I have never seen this type before that I can remember, but I would believe it if someone told me it was a WWII-era museum display piece or similar, which would be the same period as the ribbon appears to me.
                      Best regards,

Wartime ribbon detail from a Wagner. Different from the one you show.

                          Hi Brian,
You mean ww1 wartime, with silver thread over four rows, I know that is not it, but this one I think maybe TR time production.

Ribbon on my grandfather's PlM. He wore the PlM last time around 1934. Could he have replaced after war? Who knows. Remember this is also for Eichenlaub.
