Alex Kahle inf regt 52 photos and medals

Picked this up recently mainly because I don't have a photo and medal set . You might have seen this on ebay too much Gin made me the highest bidder , he who drinks most wins ( not sure what that is in Latin). However glad I did win it sadly the Mecklemberg medal was missing ( The Gold Iron Cross medal ) but I got another. So Iron Cross 2nd class , Bavarian bravery medal with swords and crown ( for bravery in action )Mecklemberg for distinction in war , then the Anhalt Friderichs cross , then the Flanders cross and finally his Infantry Regiment 52 medal . Also has various other medals and his wound badge. His name was Alexander P Kahle he fought in Verdun and many other battles and was born in Berlin. He emigrated to America after WW1 in 1923. The grandson was not particulary interested in the medals but did send me copies of the photos, Rob

Yes his name was Alex Kahle , the war ended he survived and emigrated . And of course I guess you want to see the sights . Who would think that old dude next to the Oscar statue was a Highly decorated stormtrooper ! I guess every old dude had their own story of survival amongst a plethora of similar stories . Rob
