ribbon bar w/ two Bavarian Merit ribbons - normal?

Hello all,

Can anyone please answer my question if this is possible and normal? There appear to be two identical grades of the Bavarian Merit medal on this ribbon bar. Is that acceptable? I believe I also see a Third Reich era Red cross medal and then long service as well.

Yes, it is possible. He could have received them in different grades or in different conflicts. I believe Ritter von Epp has a foto of him wearing two.

The 4th ribbon could be a Tyrol Commemorative Medal with faded green stripe.

I agree with Luftkrieg. The proportion of the red band on the 4th ribbon looks much closer to that of a Tyrol medal (with the green bands faded away) than a Red cross ribbon

Yes, it is possibly if, for example, the person was promoted during the war from Soldier/NCO to Offizier.
