WW1 EK2 Watch Fob I recently picked up

Hey guys just wanted to share pics of my recent find, I believe its a Watch Fob with a EK2 marked CD800 on the ring and a trinket at the bottom. I didn't know it was marked 800 until I started taking pics, the seller didn't notice or just didn't say.
I have been collecting WW1 and WW2 Iron Crosses for about a year now but did not have anything like this so I grabbed it. Here are some pics.

That's a good looking Carl Dillenius made cross.
You have a very nice display and needing a new display case is a good thing.

Thanks Greg! I told myself when I started these last year that 40 would be a good stopping place and that would be enough, this one today makes 18 Iron Crosses but I am thinking 40 might not be enough when and if I get to that number. Ha!
Thanks for the info on the maker, was about to look it up in a few and see who made it. Thanks!

Go ahead and get that display case. Once you get the itch for Imperia Eks you be
getting a lot more of them.

I started out wanting to get just a 1st and 2nd class 1914 and the same from 1939.
Then I discovered all of the other variations. Like different makers, different
attachments -1870s, 1813s and on and on....

I love the different variations and like you, I think I need a bigger display case.

              Very nice Greg! Kitty too!
Yeah I have stuck with the easier ones to get so far and need to get some of the less common ones but they tend to be a bit pricey sometimes. Found a few around here locally at Antique Stores but they don't turn up very often. Maybe I will make a show and seek out some of the less common ones to add, I have probably 20 to 30 empty display cases, only thing is the cash is not as plentiful.

He was a good cat. He's been gone for a year now.
