I recently acquired this pair of photographs (one being a studio photo, the other being a group photo on a postcard). No story came along, but the same fella is present in both photos. It looks like he was a signaller. The group photo is truly amazing -- the group of guys are all proudly displaying their telegraph equipment! I am not much of a photograph collector but this is a really cool pair nonetheless.

Super Great pair of images on 2-levels:
The view of the very hard to find Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt enlisted helmet shown in the one cabinet card.
And of course the postcard view showing the 2-reels being worn, and the one on the ground next to the backpack shown center front in the image, along with several telegraph troops buckles being worn. Images of these reels being worn are very, very difficult to find.
A big congratulations on acquiring these 2-images!
