I have been asked to post pics of theses three interesting buckles for a good friend of mine. We would like to hear your opinions on all three. Thanks..

Very interesting The first is one used in China I think and I have no idea about the other 2 Rob

I believe the second buckle is a pre-unification Hanoveran buckle. The third buckle has the motto of the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire.

The one with the dragon was not worn by Germans, but was manufactured in Germany for use by the Chinese police. It's quite rare.

The one with the leaping horse and "Nec Aspera Terrent" is from the old Kingdom of Hannover. it is the old crest of the Royal Kingdom of Hannover. Here is a button with the same insignia and motto:
