Hi,

Seeking opinions on this badge - I know the Navy ones are exceptionally rare.

I recall Carsten Baldes shows one in his book (I believe belongs to Stan on this forum) and there was another recently sold by Frank Sholtz.

It is a gilded army air gunner. No obviously connection to the navy but it sounds better with the navy.

Thanks for the reply. Do you believe that any Navy gunner badges existed?

I know Carsten had a gold one in his book that he said was probably a Navy one, but as you indicate no real way to prove it.
