Non magnetic, 3- piece Iron cross Class. II....

Found this EK II on a parade mount single medal bar (Einzelspange). I never saw this type before, 3-piece with an unknown core. I can not see if there is a mark on the ring? I don´t want to damage the medalbar!
Maybe someone can help me out?

Indeed... the core design in combination with a three piece construction with a non manetic core makes it a strange cross! I believe it´s a silver frame! The only ones I know are the three piece non magnetic EK II 1914 crosses from Deumer.

The thing that I notice about this core is the unbalanced looking crown.

It is a CD core.
Incorrectly considered unique core, in fact generic one, used at least by one more maker than Carl Dillenius (KO).
It is up to you, Green, to make some frame comparison, whether it is CD frame or not (it is not KO frame for sure).
When it is CD frame, you have a nice cheapass variant of CD cross.
When not, we have a third maker using CD core.

You are right.....I see the similarities with the CD core!
But I did not know, that these non-magnetic cores from CD are so common? Never saw one before , maybe my Dutch Internet:-) But hé,... I´am also here to learn.
