Black wound badge (DRGM) opinions please ?

What are your opinions on this BWB with DRGM marking ?
I don't think these items are very copied, so it should be original, but sometime they are repainted, and so value is depreciated?

Agreed, is all right here - and this DRGM patent belonged to the manufacturer Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid

I always thought this DRGM patent was attributed to several manufacturers during wartime. And of course the list was lost during war..

So I was wrong ? good to know...
