Is it common to have different size EK2's I thought they were all the same size except for prinzen. I noticed the one on the WW1 bar is 42,5 mm the other is 45mm. Rob

Different size EK2's

Left one is a WW1 period made standard size EK2 1914.
Right one is a TR made Schickle, probably three-piecer.
WW1 EKs slighlty grew in size since WW1 up to TR era when they were "adjusted" with a new EK design. Either by wider cut of WW1 frame (like Godet), or by using the same frame as for their WW2 EKs 1939 (Meybauer, Deumer, Schickle, S&L and many others when they ran out of Schinkel frames).Last edited by Miro O; 02-20-2019, 03:23 PM.
