Help identify a unit....

Handwritten unit designation says (as far as I can interpret): "Fern.Abtlg 222" + "Deutsche Feld 834".


I believe the first part stands for Fernmeldeabteilung 222. A search didn´t give much beside an indication that it was a Baden-Würtemberg-unit!?


I haven´t had any luck with the second part, I would guess at a regiment or Division. However, I can´t seem to find a list of Imperial Regiments, Divisions and other units, all that pops up are lists of WWII-units.

Can anyone help? There is a link to a homepage listing WWI-units on the pinned reference thread but unfortunately that link doesn´t seem to work anymore….
