    Hi Eduardo!
Judged by the pictures I have no issues with this badge (except that the core of the hinge is protruding for what reason ever): A Juncker made sheet-metal example, usually selling between 450 and 500 Euro between collecting collegues...

Would this be a war time issue or a later date?

This is mine, an identical piece and I have always thought it was a post WW1 badge, so would be interested to know a date for these badges.

AFAIK these were produced by Juncker and are period award pieces.

I don’t agree. This is an original juncker pilot issued in the ww2 era as a replacement piece.

Does anyone know if Juncker produced or offfered flight badges for private sale after WWI, say from early 1920s onward through 1930s? I have seen catalogs from other firms from that period and some offered flight badges but I am not sure if Juncker did.

I have never seen an 800 Juncker badge that I consider post WWI made. They may exist but surely are not common. In honesty I really don’t know how I would distinguish such a badge as every marking variation of 800 Juncker badges can be accounted for on a time line from 1913-1918.

For sure they did, Juncker was on of the prime manufacturers for the imperial pilot badge in ww1. You can be certain they offered them post war too as replacement pieces.
Just compare the setup of the Juncker iab and panzer badge in nicklesilver with the badge that started this thread. That should say enough
I believe the basemetal for this pilot badge is also nicklesilver… can't spot any tombak peeping through on the surface.

Reverse of my NS Juncker pab.
Compare the setup with the imperial pilot.
Very similar. Pin is identical and has also a flattened part just before it curves around the hinge pin. Hook and basemetal are similar too.
