Hello, some says French model M1874!!?? What a confusion… They look pretty the same… This one was produced at Saverne (Zornhoff for the imperial territory of Alsace-Lorraine) by Goldenberg… I really need some help!

"The Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen (imperial territory of Alsace-Lorraine) became an integral part of the German Empire from 1871 to 1918, by the cession by France to the Treaty of Frankfurt of May 10, 1871 of the French territories corresponding today to the Moselle, Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin."

Hello, i confirm it's a French shovel M1879. It is well made in Saverne but the annexation did not stop French orders because Goldenberg was a famous manufacturer.
