    Fake EK1 core

    Hi Guys,

    I wonder if you could help me please? I have a cross that I think is a modern repro- is this core a known reproduction one?

    Please post a pic of the back. Is it magnetic?
    Core is a known ww1 variation.
    What makes you suspect a fake?

        thanks Guys, that's interesting- the reverse is quite frankly bizarre but has a lot of patination. have you ever seen the like of this?

          Wow, that is so wrong.
          The core and front frame half probably started life as a Ek2. The rear
          frame and all of the hardware are new.

          The true definition of a Frankenstein cross.
