    Nov.11, 1918

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, 100 years ago
today, the guns of ww1 fell silent.

Today we should take a minute to think about where all of the items that
we love to collect and study came from and to remember all of the fallen
    heroes of that terrible war.

In my Country, Italy, arms became silent on November 4th, 1918, after the Imperial Austrian plenipotentiaries, signed the armistice at Villa Giusti, near Padua.

My respectful thought, goes to all those involved in that conflict, either friends or enemies: all of them, honourably fought under their Countries' colours.
