    Gallipoli Star No.3

A distinction from my collection. I suspect that the producer is AWS.
    Am I right?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

    Best Regards

Hard to say on this one. It has resemblance to AWS but you would need to compare in fine detail to a known original. As there is no hinge/pin/catch which are very useful items to help identify the AWS and with them not being present identification is difficult.

This Gallipoli Star was supposedly removed from the original damaged medal bar.
By comparing it with the signed originals (example pictures below) I came to the conclusion that its producer is AWS.
Hence my question, for certainty ...

Here is mine. Unmarked but believed to be AWS.

I find the enamel on yours is very dark but cannot say if that is due to the lighting or whatever. I appreciate that my photos are not the best either.

To me the AWS has a more orange/red colour due to the underlying golden layer beneath the enamel (which you can see in mine as damaged).

I cannot say if this should always be the case. Best to compare in detail the features and details of the obverse. I hope these help you but if not i'll try to give you better photos on request.
