One of my purchases at the Max was this medal bar. Modestly priced and unusual. Modified to mount 2 more medals. Thoughts?

And what is that medal in the center?

It's an Austrian commemorative for Emperor Franz Joseph 50th birthday I believe.

I believe it's to commemorate 1898, his 50th year to reign as emperor.
