Czech Legion skull?

I saw a couple of photographs with members of the Czech Legion wearing this design of a skull. Any thoughts or information much appreciated.

Hi Andy, I believe this skull was worn by the First Assault Battalion of the Czechoslovak Legion. It was an elite unit. This was one of a couple types they wore. I have not seen many of these, looks original.

Initially, this skull was worn by Russian shock battalions. Czech legionnaires wore these skulls in the replacement of lost ones, which were of a different design
