"Hate Belt" with BW state buckle

Here are a few photos of a "hate belt" i got with a US ww1 grouping last week. I found the Württemberg state buckle interesting. I did some looking around and cant find any information on them other than they make reproductions. Can anyone tell me how uncommon state buckles are? Or give a rough value on the buckle/belt?

    thanks for any help!

The Wuerttemberg belt buckles are scarce enough to bring about four times as much as an equal Russian buckle.

George is correct, the Wurttemburg wartime steel buckles don't show up very often. One like this example would bring approximately $125 or maybe a bit more in today's market. I have several in my collection, some maker marked J.D. 16 & J.D. 17., and some unmarked.

A very nice looking souvenir belt, congratulations!

I have one with the dates "1918 - 1919" flanking "Coblenz". It came with a common brass Prussian buckle.

          Best Regards,

          Alan

Thanks for the reply’s guys! Alan- oddly enough the vet who brought the grouping back was part of the army of occupation and stationed for a time in Koblenz.
