Possible Scam on a KMST cross? EBAY

    Hi All,
I was following this auction and placed a bid and i think i might be thankful that i was outbid, as i think it may have been a scam, as when you click onto the original listing of the sold item, a different photograph appears? weird?.
I would be interested in hearing your thoughts, a scam or not?. He has good feedback.
He offered the etui for sale seperate to the auction, for 450E, he would sell the cross and euti outside the auction for 1850E, and now the auction also finished with sale price of 936E. So how much could he make from any of the first two options offered to multiple people and they not receive the item, and did the wining bid end up with it?. now that teh picture has changed?? very weird.

He also said he had another kmst need pin cross to sell also.
    Cheers
    Wayne

This is the link to the completed auction, click on it will open the original listing but no pictures of the kmst as before, only this fake ek2. Also you will see the austion finished on the 17th and a second listing with buy it noewfor 400E. on the 18th.

No worries to be had about the KMST cross listing, there is NO SCAM going on with the different pictures/auction listing and here is why:

For some reason eBay has chosen to link all of their "sold items" listings in many of their auction categories to an entirely different live auction listing that belongs to a different eBay seller that had nothing to do with the sold/ended auction listing that you are trying to look at. ALL the sold listings in certain eBay auction categories now do this. This has been happening for a month or two time period as of my writing this.

I have not spoken with an eBay representative, but I suppose the reason they are doing this is because they do not want someone to interfere with a seller completing the auction with the buyer in the post-auction time period. That's the only reason I can think of for them doing this. It is unfortunate that they are now doing this, to say the least. They have blocked the bidder/buyer ID for many years, and now they have come up with this new tactic of blocking the seller ID as well it seems.

    Best Regards,

    Alan

      Hi ALan,
Thank you for your reply, Regarding your kind reply, I did a search on usa ebay on a completed auction I was watching and it came up with the original time and photos, from the same seller (all good), who has others items currently for sale on ebay.
Then I clicked onto it a second time and it came up with another persons add and different item , how strange, and extremely disappointing the ebay has done this weird thing, as i may wish to look at the photos of the item post auction.
      Cheers

Having said all this in my last post, I checked another completed auction, several times, and it does allow me to access all the original photos, on all occasions,
        Strange.

I have no idea, why eBay is doing this confusion. But sometimes there is full accces to a closed auction, and another time I can not see the same auction again. I.e. now I can see original pictures in the ended auction of KMST cross, mentioned in your first post .

But if I am logged in, can see all my own ended autions without problems.

          regards
          Tomasz

            Hi!
I have no problems to look at the finished auctions for the case and cross you posted....
