1914 EK2 for review

The Iron cross on the left is a nice marked original example however the details of the Iron Cross to the right such as the font of the numbers look a bit different. Is this a different variant or a repro? Core is magnetic.

Not official, but there were produced many WW1 decorations for private market, as replacements for lost/damaged pieces, for medal bars, for other uniform etc. Especialy in 1920s-30s, but also later.

This thread lists threads devoted to certain manufactures of the 1914 iron cross.
If you look closely, you will see several different core designs. Different makers
had their own idea of what the crowns should look like as well as fonts, the W's
and the oakleaves on the reverse.
