Meybauer observer "Black Beauty"

Dear all!
I would like to introduce my latest aquisition :
An observer badge by Meybauer, stamped with "800" for the silver content.
It has developed a very dark patina over the last 100 years, making it´s appearance somewhat special.
The last photo shows the difference - compared to a mint brother made of silvered tombak.

Very attractive example and fairly rare or at least hard to find.

Is is just the light or is the red enamel diferent tones between the two that you posted?
