Principatilty of Schaumburg-Lippe. Looks to be earlier type, awarded for Franco-Prussian War 1870-71.

Yes, this is a first type. It seems that these were awarded from 1870 up to the early times of WWI and then, when stock ran out, the second type was introduced.

Question, is there, by any chance, a name impressed on the rim?
