    Die stamped PLM, is it a S&L piece, unfinished

    Dear fellow collectors,


    I have bought this PLM a while ago here in Germany, as you could see it is a copper made and a die stamped piece, is it an ealy S&L piece?


    Interesting it is for sure and a seldom to find one also I guess

          here to compare is my interwar period S&L PLM. This one however is made of silver.
          I also have a very similar unfinished S&L PLM workpiece in my collection.

                  Thanks guys indeed it‘s a wonderful finished piece and it clearly shows a difference in quality to the S&L post WW2 production.

                      Alex, that is a real nice piece!!

                      I have one in silver as well, but not as nice as yours. It is marked 800 on lower arm...

                        Just a slight caveat to the reference link to the dealer site . I wouldn’t put too much credence on that , take a look at the imperial pilot badges on there , ouch !
