I'll save you the light reading and tell you that the PLM is a so-called Spanish Fake and dates from long after WWII.

I’d love a fake that looked as good as this Spanish one. Not that modern surely and if so where does one find them. I’ve only found the filled in piece of pie suspension set up ones. Sorry, I should remember the maker they copy. It is interesting as the postwar S&L ones generally don’t match this quality.
