I saw this unissued bandoleer in an old collection.
The guy also have a Mauser 98a registered rifle and practice in a shooting club.

I purchased an example like yours a couple of years ago from an old collection, mine had been opened and all rounds then deactivated, apparently a large number of these bandoliers were found at some point .
