    One for KMST Boys

    Hi Guys,
I wonder if any of the KMSt boys won this one on german ebay a few days ago, I placed a conservative unsuccessful bid,(due to my declining interest in collecting of late). Had my interest still been strong, I would have went higher then the winning bid, as I believe it a rarer version of the KMST range. I actually thought it would go much higher than the winning bid. I note the ST appears to be a little out of alignment, which is interesting.?
    Hope your Easter was great.
    Kind regards
    Wayne

              Interesting cross
If I would have seen it, I would probably have bid on it.

I've never seen one with that style of screwback before but considering
the different styles attachments from this maker, I don't have any problem
with it. as for the KM-ST not being aligned. That is not an issue. I have
seen others where they are slight mis-aligned as well.

I did bid, but were nowhere near 881e...

I am guessing it might be one of their earliest production pieces, being a single post screw,(simple) and simple double marked 800 disc, no DRGM mark required, being a simple design common design, or a special order for a customer.?
Greg, not a issue of the misalignment for me either, I mentioned it only that misalignment is much greater than the other variations we have seen. With our Australian exchange rate being 60 cents to the Euro, it made it a $1800 aud cost. At 881 euro it is in line with the asking price of the other scarcer kmst crosses.
I have not seen another type of this construction, which makes it rare in the kmst family line up, imo.
                    Cheers

$1800. That's about 3 times what I would pay for it.

                        Hello Wayne,

Rare simple designed variation indeed. Raised KMST hallmark, no DRGM as you stated. Very interesting type I have not seen either but, more than I would pay too. Thanks for showing!

                        Regards
                        E.

                          Hi Greg,
Yes our exchange rate is very poor, and with my interest not as strong as it use to be in collecting, $1800 is better in my pocket. Of course postage and custom tax is included in the $1800.
                          Cheers
                          Wayne
