After the frustrating experience with the purportedly reframed specimen I took another chance for a better one (after a thorough count of the beading...):
The core is non-stepped (or the step is completely hidden under the frame...) and the obverse frame shows this peculiar little cut-out for the small suspension ring, because the ring seems to be soldered to the reverse frame only.
I wonder what the experts opinion regarding the timeframe for this cross is -
and I hope (of cause!) that it´s a good one this time...
