Hi all,
I recently purchased this grouping of items and I see one of those strange 1788-1913 Fusiliers Regiment No. 90 commemorative crosses is present, and in screwback form no less. I have never seen any proof that these crosses ever existed but they come in many shapes and sizes, some of which look like obvious repros - some more believable, so is there any chance at all that it is a legitimate period piece?
As a secondary question, the buckle in the photo has an extremely long maker's mark on the reverse, if anyone has any info on that I'll be happy to hear all about it! I'm awaiting these items in the mail so these photos are the best I've got for now.
Thanks in advance for any help!
