                Extremely nice cross.

                I don't think these were made by Wagner but it's not really possible to know for sure. In any case the frame with the lug at the top is not associated with Wagner in my mind.

                Anyway you can say with confidence that it is a very fine Type A core, which is the award-type core.

                  Except for the obvious AWS crosses, putting a name of Wagner or Godet
                  to any 1870 EK2 is still pretty much a leap of faith.
