      Commemorative plaque.
      Text reads "Dedicated by the Association for the decoration of the war graves and monuments at Metz"
      "Gewidmet von der vereinigung zur schmuckung der kriegsgräber und denkmäler bei Metz" 1870-99
      Where exactly? Hard to say, a war monument o a war grave burial? Someone else will chime in.
