want to show some news for my collection....

i love engraved silverware.....if i see one i must buy it....

some closeup pics from the others will follow,,,if someone want to see something please ask...

It seems that the owner took part in 3 different wars:

against Schleswig (Danmark-Germany), 1864
against Österreich, 1866
against France, 1870/71

the "A" engraving looks like the "A" from the Odlenburgischen Dragoner Rgt. 19

I like the Godet Professkreuz. I have one also but slightly different.

The "Z" Johanniter is by Zehn. These were made like this until later than 1916 so it's hard to say if it's a prewar piece or a wartime piece.

Does the mark look like this?
