Without the War Decoration Wreath for females.

The Austrian Red Cross was founded in 1864 and merit awards were created to mark the 50th anniversary in 1914.

With the outbreak of war at the end of 1914, a War Decoration Wreath in green enamel was added to the cross and was awarded with the wreath until 1919.

This award is therefore early and hard to find without the War Decoration Wreath.

Hello,

an interesting piece, the II Class without Kriegsdekoration and with the ladies' bow, we have a little "plus".

Another piece, uncommon to find of the Imperial Austrian Red Cross Decoration, is the silver merit medal without KD.

Also Don's II Class cross with KD is a fine piece;pity for the missing link-ring, that has been changed with a plain, round one. Good to see, the KD shows its green enamel as being almost intact.
