Inspiring collection and thank you for sharing some bars that are not commonly seen. Like the Mecklenburg-Strelitz: the Cross for Distinction in War, "Brave and Loyal". Good luck in 2018

        Incredible collection.

Honored to be mentioned in this thread, to say nothing of thanked.

Maybe you could post quick images of the twofers you're still looking for?
        Best regards,

PS: The EK2s on your Lübeck bar and Saxe-Weimar bar are also interesting. They are the very earliest awarded types with 1870 cores modified only by changing the date to 1914: the Type A14 and Type B14 (respectively).
          Best regards,
          Streptile

Thanks for asking Trevor. Here's photos of the two orders I am looking for in order to complete the collection:

1st Shown is the Schwarzburg Honor Cross 3rd Class with Swords. (photo courtesy of member Milton)

2nd Shown is the Waldeck Merit Cross 4th Class with Swords. (photo courtesy of member Dave Danner, as shown on the gmic forum.)

            Best Regards,

            Alan

Updated Phots with All Medals (2-Unmounted)

                Hello,

I wanted to update my photos and show my continued progress towards completing a goal of having 2-place medal bars for Junior Officers with the equivalent of the EK2 for the various Imperial German States.

Never say never, but I'm not holding my breath to find a Schwarzburg-Rudoldstadt /Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen or a Waldeck 2-place medal bar with the EK2 on it, simply in a 2-place medal bar configuation.

I took liberties with the Hohenzollern medal bar and the Schaumburg-Lippe medal bar in that neither of them are in 2-place configuration.

                Best Regards,

                Alan

Alan had this display at the St.Paul show and and I can say that it looks
                          even better in person.

                            Hi Alan!
Great idea - neatly executed and almost fully accomplished ...
Could be something I´ll try to repeat for myself in the future -
might be easier to start with 3-medal-pieces (although I like them more without the Hindy!) because I have four of them already...
                            Regards
                            Hagrid
