    WW1 Knights Cross /Grand Cross

    Hello Everyone,
This is the Item I question the most.

The box is from Godet and Co.
But that doesn't mean what's in is from the same maker.

Again, I'm inexperienced at German awards. The obvious would escape me.

I thought I had better pictures but this is all I have at the moment.

Are there any maker marks or any identification I should look for?

Any help would be appreciated, Thank You, Mike

    Hi Mike,
Straight on images of the front and back of the cross would go a long way in
trying to determine if it's the real deal or not.

This GC was not made before 1945, and not by Godet.

            Mike,
Is this the same cross which is currently on ebay?

Looks the same. Box looks the same.
I am not a true believer in GC cross copies and this looks wrong to me.
Forum member AlikN sould be the guy to weigh in on this one.
I'm sure the box has nothing to do with a grand cross and could very well
have been for a knife and fork set.

              Hi Greg,
I've had this a couple weeks, it's not presently on ebay. I still have time to return it.
