It might help a little If I could read french better. I know virtuelly nothing about the Maltese award. The little I know about Pour Le Merite leds me to ask just one question. Does that loop attachment look weird to you?But since it's made after ww1 and is onesided. so.. ..If I was in the market for one, I wouldn't be interested in this one.

I don't know about the PLM "display" model... as well as the Malta Cross... But, for sure, I find the payment in cash (banknotes) only quite surprising for this amount...

I find the whole thing odd and a bit expensive, never seen a pour le merite like that, does not mean it is not correct just odd for me.

This is the best translation I can get:
For the Plain Merit face, ribbon of origin Agrafe estampillée 800 Layout grid Date store estimated 1918-1925 Annexé cross about Malta 1550 nonnegotiable euro the purchaser buying the object will be able obviously to see the object before the purchase. For all information to contact me by mall. The object from its value cannot be sent by the post office, it will be sent by a private mail service protected to the choice of the purchaser and its expenses, or the purchaser will be able to come to seek it. They are rare objects to raise only if the intention to buy is real. Delivery in a ray of 25km around Wavre with cash payment at the time of the reception.
