Hi walter,
That is not a case style that I recognize however I do very much
like the skinny gold embossed Ek design on the lid. That is what I
would expect on a 1870 case.

The cross as you well know, is a good awarded style cross. I am just
not sure about the white/ black ribbon. I hope that everything is good
but I feel a little bit uneasy about the set.

Thanks for your opinion Greg, if i understand right you have problems with the nc ribbon...cross and case are in your opinion good....

in the case was another 44 cm long nc ribbon....
