Hilfskreuzer Möwe Coin From 1916 -- Info?

    Fellow collectors, enthusiasts and researchers:

A friend on mine made a nice discovery of a coin that commemorates part of the WWI Hilfskreuzer Möwe's historic cruise.

The coin is about 6 CM and is made of some sort of non-ferrous metal.

He asked if I could post photos of his coin to seek any information our collecting community may hold about this coin.

    Any information or history?

    Thanks so much!

    Joe

Original commemorative medal was issued in 1916, in .990 silver by B.H. Meyer, Pforzheim. Nr 4147 in Zetzmann catalog, diameter 34 mm, weight 16,18 g.

Zinc alloy pieces in same design (but greater size) are later private made strucks.

Joe, here's a similar from Christian Laurer, Nürnberg, for Captain Müller of Emden.
Also "990" and "SILBER" on the rim, 33,3mm and 18,25g. Smaller but heavier, must be due to the extra funnels

          cheers
