    Godet Medal Marking identification

Not sure if this thing is interesting for public discussion, but I'm bringing this up since I'm really curious.

I was messing around with microscope and I found this tiny marking on the Waldeck-Pyrmont Verdienstkreuz 3th class which is text example made by Godet.

This medal was in my hands for 2 years, never realized it has this marking, I've never seen anything like this and want to know what kind of marking is this, even looked at the book, still couldn't find any reference related.
Could this be some kind of serial number or maker mark?, seems it is 'JCBS.' on it and I literally have no idea.

Anyone have any info regards to this marking?

It's not a 'B', it's am ampersand (&). It's not 'C', but 'G'. Therefore, it is 'JG&S' or Johann Godet und Sohn. You sometimes also see JG u. S. It appears to have a silver-gilt center. So, it's likely post 1916 up to 1925, when I believe Godet sold the company to WILM and the name was changed to Gebrüder Godet & Co.

Thank you very much for the answer, now it all makes sense.
If I may add, I would love to see other Godet examples with this kind of marking if there are any, I'm pretty surprised there were real small marking on the medal.

Godets are full of surprises I guess.
Thanks again for the quick answer, hope you have a good weekend.

I actually corrected and edited my original info to be more precise.
